Welcome to the Hobnox Open Source hub! We are developing Flash applications and produce a lot of ActionScript source code. We invest our time in core frameworks that solve every-day problems and we think they are shareworthy.
Today we open up Hobnox Open Source. A website for Flash developers where we share some of our libraries and source code. The first framework we want to introduce is UIEvent; a different approach on handling events. You can explore our source code repository at http://svn.opensource.hobnox.com/. We also offer an up-to-date documentation of our libraries at http://opensource.hobnox.com/documentation.
Stay tuned. We hope that we can release even more frameworks in the near future.

Good initiative, thanks !
Great job guys! Gonna keep an eye on you.
Awesome, I am excited to see what you guys are up to in there.
Although right now I’m struggling to figure out what UIEvents are for. I admit I am sometimes tempted to reimplement such things, and in fact have created my own Event system in the past, simply because I understood how my version works much better than the version in Adobe’s massive codebase, but I suspect there must be something more going on with these UIEvents since you have decided to release it as open source.
YES!
Well André, this are really good news
I learned a lot of technics from Andre Michelle’s article.
Recently i made a realtime audio speed change program in as3. I would like you to taste this demo

Finally, here’s your chance to open source the Java MIDI SPI for OS X!
I’ve been hoping to see some progress on making that available… there are two implementations that I know of out there, but neither is free (or opensource) anymore.
I’d implement one myself, except while I have plenty of Java experience, I have absolutely no native OS X experience, and my wife wouldn’t want me stealing her laptop for too long (that’s the only modern Mac we have in the house…).
Feel free to contact me if there’s any way I can help!
